WATER CRISIS in Flint, Michigan.

For the past few weeks, the water crisis in the city of Flint, MI has made national headlines, after the discovery of extremely elevated levels of lead in the city’s drinking water. It is estimated that between 6,000 and 12,000 residents had severely high levels of lead in the blood and experienced a range of serious health problems due to the situation.

Now Embrace Relief in collaboration with Turkish American Society of Michigan is stepping up and starting a fundraiser to help alleviate the situation in Flint in response to this national disaster. To learn more and to join, click here.
