Session 1: Appetizers in Turkish Kitchen!
We will be preparing Red Lentil Kofta and Bride’s Cake.
Red Lentil Kofta: This kofte is one of the most popular appetizers in Turkish cuisine. It is simple, easy to make and flavorful. Red Lentil Kofta is 100% plant based food and doesn’t require any baking or pan frying process.
Bride’s Cake: This cold dessert has recently become very popular in Turkey. It is sponge cake topped with Turkish style custard and coconut.
Red Lentil Kofta and Bride’s Cake will be served after the class.
This is a hands-on cooking class. Ingredients and cooking materials will be provided at the event place. Each participant will be able to take part in the preparing/cooking process and take samples home.
Fee: $15 /person (fee can be paid at the door on the event day)
