Cooking Class – Saturday, October 26, 2013 – Detroit

    TASM Women’s branch is organizing another Turkish Cooking Class on October  26rd. You are cordially invited to register for the upcoming second session to enjoy great food along with a friendly conversation. Please find details below.

 Session 2: Dolma (Stuffed Vegetables) and Ashure (Noah’s Pudding)

  •   Dolma is a family of stuffed vegetable dishes. Common vegetables to stuff include bell peppers, zucchini and tomatoes. We will share our knowledge about the art and science of stuffing vegetables:) We hope that after this session, you will be equipped with the knowledge of a versatile way of preparing vegetable
  •   Ashure is a vegan Turkish dessert that consists of grains, fruits and nuts. Condiments such as pomegranate kernels and cinnamon are placed on top beforeTraditionally, it is made in large quantities and distributed to friends, neighbors, relatives and colleagues regardless of their background as an offering of peace and love.

So, come join us for a unique cooking experience and enjoy a lunch of dolma, salad and ashure with us!
